Dion Marlow
Dion grew up with Rock'n'Roll Music from a very early age and has a musical background with his father, Kev Marlow who has been on the Rock'n'Roll scene for 30 + years. Dion started playing the Double bass after seeing The Jets live on stage at the age of 6 and ever since that night he has been playing the bass. Since starting playing the Double Bass, he has wanted to keep bettering himself musically, with influences from Jimmy Sutton, Bob Cotton, Jarrod Coombes and Martyn Savage. As a result of the influences and hard work and practice, he has been able to perform 500+ shows across the UK & Europe. Dion has been lucky enough to have played on stage with The Jive Aces, Marco Di Maggio, The Keytones, The Jets, Wildfire Willie plus members of Ray Collins' Hot Club, Boogie Banhausen and The Spunyboys he also has performed backstage/jammed with Darrel Higham, Laurie London, The Stargazers and Phil Haley & The Comments. He has also appeared in trailers for a national theatre show.

He is influenced by artists such as The Keytones, Elvis Presley, The Jive Aces, Di Maggio Connection and The Velvet Candles. In addition to his enthusiasm for music, Dion plays a pivotal role in managing the band's bookings and well as the band's sound engineer, where his passion for both live and studio sound shines through. Dion's musical talent extends to the Guitar, Drums, and Piano, which make an appearance on the recordings by Rockin'em. |
